Justin grew up in Grimes, Iowa. He has always had a passion for sports, playing baseball, basketball, and golf throughout high school. It was from those experiences that sparked his interest in physical therapy, participating in a school-to-work program right here at Elevate Physical Therapy. After high school, Justin attended the University of Northern Iowa where he attained his Bachelor of Arts in Movement and Exercise Science and his Master of Arts in Kinesiology. From there, he continued his education in Des Moines, Iowa where he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University. Justin has since earned his Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 certification, which allows him to help people move and perform better on the course. “Getting people back to doing what they love, without the limitation of injury or pain, is what motivates me to come to work everyday. Embodying the culture we have at Elevate Physical Therapy, achieving these goals and getting patients back to the things they love is possible.” Justin and his wife, Alexi were married in July 2020 and reside in Ankeny. In his free time, Justin enjoys being active, spending time with his family and friends, and golfing.
